Compiling a Portfolio of evidence with your ability to apply the knowledge and skills obtained, reflected in the portfolio.

A Final Integrated Summative Assessment (FISA)

Submission of necessary documentation for certification to QCTO by CAL.

• Principles and concepts of finishing carpentry.
• Indentify, use, and maintain tools and power tools.
• Measuring and testing instruments.
• Tools, equipment, and planning, preparation, and installation of above and below-ground drainage systems and sanitary installations.
• Removal of existing damaged carpet tile and flooring surface.
• Preparation of work area and installation of carpet tiles.
• Gradients and Leveling and the Basic Principles of Excavation.
• Fundamentals of electricity and electrical appliances.
• Environmental sustainability requirements.
• Concepts, theories, and principles of energy efficiency and ethics.
• Theory and Principles of drainage and water.
• Water traps and venting of an above-ground sanitary drainage system.
• Sanitary fixtures Appliance Installation.
• Measure, prepare, and cut materials according to specifications.
• Repair & replace a damaged door.
• Replace a damaged mortice lock in a damaged wooden door.
• Repair minor & major damage to drywall.
• Attach/hang an item (1kg – 5kg) to a wall.
• Assist the Installer in substrate preparation and identify any hazards.
• Confirm the selection and installation method of the electrical equipment.
• Use installation tools and personal protective equipment.
• Install equipment and wire electrical equipment.
